Fashion and Design competition

After been in the far far away land for a while i decided to come back because i had to tell you this!!


There are two amazing competitions at the moment, the A'DESIGN AWARD an international competition with a broad range of fields from Fashion and jewellery, architecture, Interior Design, Graphics and 3D Model Design, Arts and Craft, Ready Made Design and Movie and animation among others, open to everyone regardless age, nationality, work experience, basically everyone is welcome to participate.The winner will be presented for a year at the A'Award museum and gallery in Italy and will get their work published in design magazines as well as having their work presented in trade fairs. Well briefly speaking the winning designers/ companies wiill be supported to get media attention, contacts and buyers which in my opinion is priceless, even more for who is starting a career in Design.So what you waiting For??



The other competition i want to tell you about is the Mango Fashion Awards 4th edition- O El Boton, you have until June to apply and get the possibility of winning a 300.000 Euros prize!!! Appealing ah??
Apart from Mango representatives, in the judges panel, the most prestigious international fashion schools will also take part, starting with Central Saint Martin’s school of art and design (London), Institut Francais de La Mode(Paris), Instituto Marangoni ( Milan) Royal Academy of Fine Arts ( Ambers) and Escola superior de Disseny (Barcelona).

JOSE ANTONIO TENENTE SUMMER 2011 COLLECTION PRESENTATION



Hello Google generation!!!

Here I am to share with you some pictures taken at the JOSE ANTONIO TENENTE summer 2011 collection presentation, the culminate of the creative lab commissioned by The designer at the Fashion and Design Museum: MUDE

The JAT presentation took the most of the museaum space dynamics and from the built structure Created especially for this project ,drew by the Architects Ines Vieira Da Silva and Miguel Vieira ,using the platforms where once were the dummies exhibiting a variety of the designer collection pieces to now exhibit pieces from the summer 2011 collection in live models.

During the event the models were shifting between the static positions between the platforms, nucleus surrounded by structured pleats in black voile fabric and the catwalk alongside the room.

The atmosphere was relaxed, full of beautiful , interesting people and some public figures such as, Lili caneças, Cláudio Ramos, Barbara Guimarães, Sofia Bessa, Custodia Gallego, João libério.

Olá geração Google!!

Hoje irei vos mostrar algumas fotos tiradas na apresentação da colecção verão 2011 de José António Tenente. Esta apresentação foi o culminar da 2 edição do Creative Lab comissionado por Tenente no Museu do Design e da Moda; MUDE.

Para a apresentação JAT aproveitou a dinâmica do espaço do museu e a estrutura desenhada especificamente para este projecto pelos arquitectos Inês Vieira da Silva e Miguel Vieira, usando as plataformas que outrora albergavam manequins expondo pecas da colecção do Designer, para agora exporem pecas da colecção mais recente em manequins de carne e osso.

Durante o evento os manequins iam alternando entre as plataformas, os núcleos circundados por plissados estruturados em tecido voile preto e a passerelle ao longo da sala.

O ambiente era de descontracção, glamour , com gente bonita e interessante, e algumas figuras publicas como, Lili Caneças, Cláudio Ramos, Barbara Guimarães, Sofia Bessa, Custodia Gallego, João libério.
